You’ll also learn to locate articles in academic journals, popular magazines, and newspapers using the powerful ProQuest database as well as other MiraCosta College Library databases. Google is fast and easy to use, but now that you're in college will your search skills be up to the challenge?  In this workshop, you'll learn tips and techniques for finding the best web sources to solve your information needs, whether it's personal interest or for a class assignment.  You will also learn to evaluate the quality and credibility of your search results.  Bring questions and tips and tricks to share with others.  We can all learn from each other.
