What is Library 101?
LIBR 101 is designed to help students develop the knowledge and skills they’ll need to navigate the 21st Century information landscape. LIBR 101: Library and Information Strategies introduces students to the concepts of research planning and search strategies, in addition to the effective use of print and online research tools. LIBR 101 is a one credit, self-paced workbook course. Some sections of LIBR 101 are offered as open-entry/open-exit courses. Students may enroll in the course up to 8 weeks into the semester.

Find the answers to these questions and more in LIBR 108, a 3-unit online course designed to familiarize you with the research options and help you develop advanced research skills. This is an online course taught using the Blackboard online course system. This is a standard, semester-long course and is NOT a self-paced course.
