Business Source Premier provides full-text coverage of scholarly business, management and economics journals. The collection also includes publications covering topics such as accounting, banking, finance, international business, marketing, sales, etc.

IBISWorld Market Research Reports provide current economic, demographic, and government date on over 700 U.S. industries. 

Gale Business Insights: Global combines an international perspective and research tools, such as case studies, statistical data sources, news articles, academic journals and topical reference materials organized by country, company, and industry to keep users informed about the global business environment.

Safari Tech Books contains the current editions of many technology, creative design, and business publications.

JSTOR provides full-text access to articles from over 1400 scholarly journals in a diverse array of arts, humanities, and social sciences disciplines.  EBSCOhost provides access to several periodical databases. Academic Search Premier contains full text articles from mostly academic/scholarly journals.

LexisNexis Academic is a leading database for researching news, business, and legal topics. It contains more than 6,000 sources from all over the world, drawn from print, broadcast, and online media.


Books & eBooks

The MiraCosta College Library owns copies of over 200,000 books and ebooks! To locate books in print and ebooks, use the Library Catalog . If you wish to access the ebooks from off-campus, you will need to enter your SURF ID and password. The MiraCosta College subscribes to several streaming video databases containing documentaries and educational videos. If accessing streaming databases from off-campus, you will be prompted for your SURF ID and password.

Films On Demand provides streaming educational videos on subject areas including Archival Films & Newsreels, Social Sciences, Business, Science, Health & Medicine and more. Academic Video Online is a multidisciplinary collection of streaming video with approximately 17,000 full-length videos in 22 disciplines.  Intelecom is a searchable video clip database covering a wide variety of disciplines. Topic-specific clips average 3 to 5 minutes in length and are closed-captioned.
