In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, MiraCosta College is temporarily limiting access to the library building to registered students and employees. This is to allow a staged approach to expanding access to our campus.
The MiraCosta College Library has changed some of our service, spaces, and policies to optimize the health and safety of our students as well as our own faculty and staff. Please know that we are still here for your research and information needs.
As a reminder, starting August 23, 2021, all students seeking to receive instructional or support service on campus for an extended time (indoors for 15 minutes or greater), must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless they receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
Students are required to be vaccinated to enter the library.
All library visitors must wear masks.
While social distancing is not required, we know that some students may not feel comfortable in close proximity to other students.
Masks, hand sanitizer, and paper towels are available on every floor.
