MiraCosta College Library provides access to NYTimes.com, New York Times mobile apps, and New York Times in Education to MiraCosta College students and employees. 

New user? Sign up for your New York Times Pass on or off campus.

  1. If prompted for MiraCosta College Single Sign-On (Okta), log-in with your SURF id and password
  2. Once at the New York Times pass page, click on "Create Account"
  3. MCC Students: use any email address. MCC Employees: you may use your @miracosta.edu email address. Use any password for your New York Times account.
  4. Log-in to your New York Times pass account from any device (website or App).

Your MiraCosta College New York Times Access Pass requires a quick renewal every 12 months. When you are prompted to renew, log out from your account on all devices, clear your cache, then log in at the link above to renew.
