Whether you need a scholarly article or an article from a newspaper or popular magazine, the MiraCosta College Library subscribes to several databases in all different subject areas to help you. As you start exploring the library’s full-text databases, you may wonder why we don’t simply use Google to locate periodical articles? The short answer is that the majority of periodical articles are not available for free on the Internet, and it's much easier and faster to locate quality full-text articles in a library database. Of course, some people prefer to do things the hard way:
