Join multiple terms with "AND" & "OR" ("Visual symbols" AND Adinkra , "wood carvings" OR sculpture, "ancestral figures" OR deities)
Use quotation marks around a phrase to do phrase searching (e.g. "Yoruba thorn carvings" ; "clay sculptures"; "totem poles")
"Indian" (as well as Native American) is still used in the Library catalog and databases: "Indian art" is an acceptable search terms
Enter your search terms followed by site:.edu or site:.org to narrow down results
